about the author
Ronald Siebert
Ronald Siebert’s journey is one of dedication, adventure, and an enduring love for life.
A proud U.S. Navy Seabee, Ronald began his service shortly after graduating in 1957. For two decades, he traveled the world, building towers, bridges, and vital infrastructure with skill, precision, and unwavering commitment to his country. His time in the Navy not only shaped his discipline and resilience but also gave him a deep appreciation for hard work and purpose.
After retiring from the military, Ronald pursued higher education, earning his college degree and proving that personal growth has no timeline. Throughout his life, sports have been a constant passion, whether bowling, swimming, playing water volleyball, or hitting the golf course. Even as the years passed and friends left the game, he continued playing golf in their honor, cherishing the memories they shared.
When he isn’t enjoying the outdoors or exploring new places, Ronald writes. His books, Fair Play and Distant Memories, draw from the values, emotions, and experiences that have defined his life. Through storytelling, he hopes to inspire readers, offering tales of perseverance, love, and the courage to face life’s toughest challenges.
Ronald currently enjoys a peaceful life surrounded by family, grateful for the journey that brought him here, and excited to share more of his stories with the world.
